Miranda Van Niekerk

Miss Miranda van Niekerk is a registered professional technologist who holds a B. Tech Degree in Civil Engineering.
Her principal field of expertise is Rural and Urban Infrastructure Development namely Roads & Storm water, Causeways, Sanitation & Water Reticulation. Her expertise gained in her 12-year period with Samani Consulting and Civil Engineers has equipped her with extensive experience and skills in this field of Rural and Urban Engineering, structures, Upgrading and Rehabilitation Projects.
She also gained experience in Traffic and transportation engineering including traffic counts, traffic signal designs, road master plans and public transport planning. In 2017 she was training and overseeing DOT technicians with ECSA report towards PR registration.
She started working for Beosumber and Associates in 2003 till January 2005 and later joined Samani Consulting c/c in February 2005. She was then appointed as Director at Samani Consulting in October 2015 in charge of implementation and operations.
Since 2003, she has gained vast experience in geometric design, pavement design, stormwater design and tender documentation and Client Liaison.
Miranda is fully computer literate in various design software packages such as Model Maker, Road maker, CAD and project management software such as Microsoft office suite.

NKULULEKO HADEBE
B TECH CIVIL ENGINEERING 2009
Nkululeko completed his B Tech in 2009, he started working in 2004 at Multicrop Water Engineer as a Site Agent. He further moved to TPA in 2005 where he was an Assistant Resident Engineer involved in quality management, supervision of contractors and tender documentation until June 2009.
From 2009 to May 2017 he joined Samani Consulting as a project manager to the District Cost Centre where he was supervising local roads and structures. He further joined Mvubu Consulting in May 2017 as a Project Manager.
In total Nkululeko has 14 years’ experience of which 6 years has been associated with the operations of KZN DOT.

Babalo qualified in 2014 with a National Diploma and in 2017 with a B-Tech degree. He began working at MT Investments where he was a technician in 2014 doing field work on road construction and pipe laying supervision. He further joined Samani Consulting in 2017 as the Assistant RE supervising road construction works. In 2018 he joined Mvubu Consulting as a Project Manager.
